Hard to believe our task force will be a year old on January 12!
Not many of us have been here from the beginning, but some of us have been here a long time:
Homeless Toilet, Marztine, Schaeffer, Devil Dog, Poppa Viirus, Bcanlne, Rizzo, SS, Wedowee, and Smoke, along with Seidel and Morph who moved over to Mini Marines.
Since we are a virtual team, we are going to have a virtual party, unconstrained by real world considerations like time, distance, and reality.
Everyone is invited, and everyone can contribute something to the party.
(Let us know what you would like to bring in the Blog Comments)
Here are the plans thus far..
Smoke has invited us to his house in Waco for Texas smoked brisket
Wedo and Marztine are fishermen, so we will expect them to catch us some fish
SS will bring Gulf Coast shrimp and oysters, along with Southern fried chicken
Homeless kills and smokes various animals, so he can bring smoked whatever
Poppa has signed up to bring Delaware Bay blue crabs and vinegar fries, and since he lives across the river from Philadelphia, he will pick us up some Philly Cheesesteaks on the way
Devil Dog is bringing sweet and spicy meatballs
Smoke will have plenty of kegs on hand, along with cigars
BoomDrum lives next door to the Makers Mark Distillery,
so we expect him to show up with a few cases of Bourbon
Devil Dog has volunteered to provide Captain Morgan’s Black
SS will bring sweet tea (the house wine of the south)
Wedo will drop by one of his bottling plants and pick up Diet Coke for the Mini Marines
